Saturday’s game featured a tough matchup against the SFC U6 team. After falling behind early, the Scram tied it up 4 -4 after the end of the first period. With the speedier SFC team tiring, Henry’s strike in the second period made it 5 – 4, which stood for the winning goal. The rest of the game was evenly played and El Scram held off a late SFC charge to prevail 7 – 6 at the final whistle. Congrats to the Egg Beaters going 2 – 0 on the year. Next Saturday, Los Scramblers take on the NMR Diamondbacks in a bid to stay undefeated.
