Hey Now   His Hankness

Big summer trip. Four Corners, Aztec Ruins, Southern CO, Durango. It’s been 12 years since we last visited Mesa Verde and discovered the ancesteral puebloans. I wondered if the high desert cliff houses would still hold some mystery for us within the alcoves and ancient brick and canyon trails. It was even better this time around with Henry. Rode the narrow gauge train from Durango to Silverton. I’m still picking coal cinders out of  my hair and ears, as if they are some sort of trip souvenir. Floated the Rio de las Animas.
