Game Day: Scramblers vs. Red Hots   Leave a comment

IMG_5070_1H nets 4 goals as the Scram keeps their irons in the fire with a 12 – 8 victory

The U-6 Scramblers kept their undefeated season going strong against the Red Hots this morning. Despite some early whining about a cactus pricker in his sock, Henry had a strong game today, scoring the first goal. The egg-beaters set an early fast pace with plenty of counterattacks to make the score 2 – 0. The Red Hot eventually fought back to even the score at 7 – 7.  With the teams very close at half-time, the  strategy of loading the players up with high fructose corn syrup seemed to have worked as H came alive for three more goals to make the final score 12 – 8 for the Eggers.

Had a great time and a lot of fun. We celebrated the victory by buying a giant pumpkin at the farmer’s market and a loaf of sourdough bread. And for all you premium hank.com members, please login to the gallery for more Scramblers FC action shots.
