The gracious host guarding the goods   Henry’s party came off pretty well despite the usual crazy winds. Had a great time with the parents and all the kids seemd to enjoy the festivities. On Friday we went out with the Pierards to Katana, Henry’s current fave eatery because of the culinary pyrotechnics. This eruption […]

Here’s Hank in the Huachuca Mountains in April when he’s just four years old. Don’t know if you can see the peanut gallery of wild turkeys behind him, they’re sort of hidden in the trees. He’s five today!

Loaded some photos of Chaco Canyon in the Fall 2008 album. Hope to have more pics of Halloween up soon, and, hold onto your hats, the scene of a mountain lion siting in Monticello Box! (couldn’t get any pics of the lion, he moved to fast).

You call that a pie hole?   Leave a comment

Spent the weekend in Pie Town, NM, where every September the locals host the Pie Town Pie Festival. My guess is the festival draws about twice the entire population of Catron County for games, food, music, horse shoe throwing, the usual arts and crafts, and a lot of bikers.
